Encrypted keys
Integration keys sit encrypted in the database and are decrypted only in memory, for the length of one call.

Permissions per section
Only an administrator creates users. Every function checks the permission before working: when in doubt, it denies.

Guest data kept to a minimum
We keep as little of the documents as possible: details read when needed, attachments in a private archive with expiring links.

Protected entry points
The public addresses that receive data from outside are closed with a shared secret.

Defence against manipulation
External messages and documents come in isolated and tagged, with detection of attempts to make the system do what it shouldn't.
